Terms of use
Using CoopCouch
Last updated .
The service
CoopCouch provides Steam co-op discovery, account-based tracking, private group tools, and selected planning features. Features may be introduced, changed, paused, or removed while data quality, security, availability, and production checks are in progress.
Accounts and secure access
- Use only provider accounts you are authorized to use.
- Sign-in starts on CoopCouch and finishes on the official Steam, Discord, or Google site. Never enter a provider password or security code into CoopCouch.
- Keep private invitation, recommendation, poll, and claim links confidential. A person holding a valid bearer link may be able to use the capability it grants.
- You are responsible for activity through your authenticated session until you log out or revoke sessions from the profile security panel.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- break the law or violate another person's rights through the service;
- probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass security, privacy, or rate limits;
- use another person's account, group, library, or private link without permission;
- submit malware, deceptive data, or automated traffic that harms the service; or
- misrepresent CoopCouch as affiliated with Valve or another provider.
Catalog, prices, and recommendations
Catalog facts, prices, discounts, compatibility, ownership, and availability can be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or changed by their source. Prices are scoped to the US Steam storefront and USD. Recommendations support a group decision; they do not guarantee that a game will work for every device, account, controller, network, region, or participant. Verify current product details and purchase terms on Steam.
Third-party services
Steam, Discord, Google, Cloudflare, PostHog, and Google AdSense operate under their own terms and policies. Their availability is outside CoopCouch's control. CoopCouch is independent and is not affiliated with Valve; provider names and marks belong to their respective owners.
Availability and responsibility
The service is provided on an as-available basis. Security bounds, upstream outages, account authority changes, data freshness, or operational gates may make a feature temporarily unavailable or reject an action without changing existing data. Nothing on CoopCouch is a promise that a game, discount, session, or third-party service will remain available. Any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law remain unaffected.
Privacy and account deletion
The Privacy page explains the data used by the service and the available choices. The profile security panel provides account export and deletion after recent reauthentication. Deleting an account also removes access to its private account and group data as described there.
Changes and contact
