Why CoopCouch exists

Store pages are designed to describe one product. A group has a different job: find a game that matches its play setup, budget, and preferred kind of co-op. CoopCouch keeps discovery centered on those practical questions and makes missing answers visible instead of quietly filling the gaps.

What is available now

• Browse and search a saved index of Steam games with co-op support.
• Narrow results by price, sale status, tracked status, and the co-op or genre tags present in the catalog.
• Open a game page for saved Steam facts and platform-scoped IGDB multiplayer data when that source provides a matching record.
• Use an account to track candidate games. Public catalog browsing remains available without signing in.

CoopCouch does not currently publish a verified crossplay answer or a complete minimum-player requirement for every game. The game data guide explains what each saved field means.

Different from a storefront

CoopCouch helps create a shortlist; purchases, licenses, refunds, system requirements, and the current offer remain with Steam. The catalog is organized around discovery rather than sponsored rankings or invented review copy.

Private tools have a separate rollout

Account and group-planning tools are deployment-gated and may not be available to every visitor. Where enabled, they are private, account-scoped surfaces rather than indexable catalog content. The public catalog can still be used on its own.

Honest data over guessed answers

Missing player counts, compatibility details, or setup requirements stay unknown until a supported source establishes them. CoopCouch does not add fictional reviews, praise, or scores to make a sparse record look complete. Prices and availability are scoped to the US Steam storefront and shown in USD; verify the current offer on Steam before buying.
